Dj BigRome Releases A Masterpiece Ep With Angst McCoy & Tyger
Dj BigRome from Pretoria (PTA) links up with one of Polokwane’s finest artists for a masterpiece ep that is set to shake your speakers and make you dance. The Project consists of 5 excellent hip-hop tracks with no external features on it
This week we sat down with Angst McCoy and Tyger to get details of this wonderful project. In a talk with them, they said “The motive behind the EP is about connecting or linking the two cities, Polokwane and Pretoria and putting all that up in one art form, hence the name of the EP is called The Link”. Swish Prince of Angst McCoy was the main producer and engineer of the project. They went on to tell us about the process of making The Link possible “This project was inspired by a performance by Tyger and Angst McCoy at The State Theater in 2017”
The State Theater event which took place in 2017 led to Angst McCoy and Tyger sharing the stage with some of South African biggest names such as B3nchmarQ and personalities of Lemapi Entertainment. This is where Dj BigRome was made to consider Angst McCoy and Tyger to work on a project together. “He fell in love with our sound and decided to work with us on a project” they smiled.
What can we expect from these talented hungry young artists from Polokwane? Let them tell us “From here on we'll be working with Nic Christiana who's under a record label from London called HQ Familia on a track called #Overtime which will be released on the 4th of April also hosted by Dj BigRome and which could be released on i-Tunes exclusively. Our fans should keep their ears on the ground for more of our music on different social media sites”.
